Abdel-Azeem Hammad is a journalist and former editor-in-chief of Al-Shorouk and Al-Ahram. He received his BA in political science from Cairo University in 1972, and has been a journalist since 1974. He was Al-Ahram’s correspondent to Germany and central Europe from 2000-2005. He is also an author, a translator and a researcher. Some of his recent publications include: The American Revelation: The story of the constructive relationship between America and the Muslim Brotherhood, and The Lost Revolution: The battle of the military helmets, the beards and the square.
